This thread reminds me of a great conversation had at MISIPASTA. We (@fffflood, @samuellhuber.eth, @iz, other great folks who I don't know their fname – tag 'em!) were talking about the assertion that "crypto needs to grow". One hard question: "do we really?" TradFi isn't trying to bring new users onto Bloomberg.

If you've been to an in-person event recently, you've likely seen @jackwyldes.eth working tirelessly behind the scenes. He's setting up cameras, grabbing footage, interviewing folks, etc. The man is one of the most talented creators I know, outworks all others, and flies under the radar. Here's to you, sir. 🥃

Sending direct casts/DCs/DMs are available via API. This was utilized by @payton to send receipts from @privy pay. Fun facts. Current lines of code per @birthdaylabs product: • Native: 368,338 • Dot Infrastructure: 58,158 • Panes: 10,225 This does not include dependencies or config files. Native is an order of magnitude larger because of multi-clients (Android, Farcaster, iOS, web).

One question I have remaining from FarCon: Is there a philosophy on agentic accounts? • Accounts like Clanker's tokenbot are basically miniapps with a profile. • The best version of agentic users would be DAUs with funded wallets. • The worst version of agentic accounts are bad actors or spam.
