try to argue against content coins from first principles.

if a video on tiktok has millions of views, it has value.

why should a single platform control that value?
why shouldn't that value be explicit?
why shouldn't the creator benefit from that value?

seems good to me.

I wrote about this exact thing a couple years ago. I do NOT believe that all content should be coined.

The qualitative becomes quantitative.
The subjective becomes objective.

It cheapens the work (see Zora already dropping MCs). 

It changes the relationships to the work: both creative and consumer.

It reduces art and artist to numbers.
