It doesn’t. Unless you’re defining crypto solely in financial terms. In which case, it’s a seed stage startup at best. Early signs, for sure. But still not-quite-PMF.

Given the size of venture funds, capital invested into the ecosystem, and maturity of crypto as a whole (Bitcoin is 14 years old) - there should be enough data. I’d argue we’ve found PMF or Crypto Market Fit as I’m calling it.

If the product is investable companies in a hot category and the market is VCs, then 100%. If the product is bankless finance and the market are financial actors, then we’re close. If the product is DeSo or identity and the market is the general public, then it’s way too early.
