The biggest problem in coins today is the burden of growth.

Devs and artists on @clanker, creators on @zora, and others are trying to solve a single problem: how do I grow my coin/token?

Hot take: maybe it should be up to the app/protocol, not the creator.

We're already seeing glimpses of this.

The primordial ooze for protocols taking on the burden.

@jessepollak's passion for helping folks grow on Base.

@zora’s algorithm putting creator coins in front of others.

@proxystudio.eth helping builders like me gain & retain attention.

Part of the opportunity is a value prop of the chain itself.

In the offchain world, the burden of growth is on founders, on monetary policy, on markets, etc.

But onchain, particularly when combined with agentic actors, allows for some amount of *automation* of value accrual.

DeFi proponents often uses "programmable money" as a benefit of the chain.

And they're 100% right.

But programmable money doesn’t just mean that existing economic and financial instruments become more efficient. 

It also means brand *new* ways of generating economic growth.

If I’m right, it means the burden isn’t on the creator. 

Or dev. Or artist.

It’s on the protocols and ecosystems.

Coin it, forget it, and get paid.

And it’s up to @nativefun, @base, @clankeronbase, and @zora to create and funnel value.

I think we're like ≈ 20-30% there.

The assumption by many (including me): no free lunch.

But what if it’s false.

Maybe not a free lunch, but a reduced one.

Maybe agentics fill in the gap.

Maybe a new tokenomic innovation.

Maybe it’s impossible. But maybe not.

And if not, it changes the world forever.

With $NATIVE, I'm thinking very deeply about post-AI work.

How can I build tech that enables people to get paid for ideas?

At least some form of market-driven UBI/subsidy.

After all that's how today's world works.

You see an opportunity or have an idea, and you monetize it.

It's just that the burden of growth is on YOU to execute that idea.

To take it from zero to one. 

From idea to value. 

From market opportunity to startup. 

From imagination to canvas.

Today, YOU have to be active to turn creative capital to financial capital.

Today's world revolves around active income.

The chain may enable our world to revolve around passive income.

That's the world I'm building. And want to build.

The end of work as we know it.

I believe in hard work.

No free lunch.

But that's in a pre-AGI, capitalist society.
