Breakout, pie-expanding, crypto-enabled apps are possible now that we have usable passkey-based web wallets on the way.

Web wallets make the Internet 10x better.

While, like @kyle, I’m excited for the new infra, you don’t need web wallets or passkeys to build pie-expanders. 

IMO what we’ve needed isn’t smart accounts, but meta transactions and paymasters.

What was missing was cross-app auth experiences with no app download. 

Web wallets provide that.

Cross-app auth isn’t a priority if you’re solely focused on expanding the pie. 

Gasless transactions are everything.

Cross-app auth comes later.

I’m not arguing against cross-app auth btw, just that “normies” don’t care (yet). They need proof that the chain is better in any ONE case.

But that aside, what I think we agree on is that both smart accounts and gasless transactions are dope and it’s awesome they’re both available now.
