I believe you’ve damaged your reputation and our industry. 

Your decisions have hurt a lot of folks. 

Not just bags. But hearts. Including my own.

I can’t express enough how frustrated, angry, and frankly sad I am. 

Not just for the obvious reasons but I knew from first meeting that you’re incredibly talented. 

You’re an unbelievable communicator. A deep thinker. 

And I was looking forward to watching you grow into a true leader in our space.

You had caught lightning in a bottle. 

You wanted to see your voice matter. 

I truly believe that. 

And I believe that it would have.

You built something special. 

When I think about Clanker’s future, I get radically excited. 

More than any other token protocol, Clanker has the potential to change lives. 

And now it continues without you.

I choose to believe that you’re not a psychopath but instead that you made a massive mistake in an attempt to avoid embarrassment. 

We’ve all been there. 

We’ve all made mistakes, albeit maybe not with equivalent impact.

I can’t imagine the grief, shame, and raw self-hatred that you're feeling.

Feel those emotions deeply.

Wrestle with them. You screwed up.

Let this be your low point.

But please don’t let this be your end.

As hard as it may be to believe, I love you man. 

You’ve got the number. Seriously.

You know I believe in redemption.

However.

If you’re simply an evil person looking to repeatedly take advantage of others, then I pray you never return to our space or succeed in any other of your extractive plots.

I’ll refrain from using an f word that I want to use. So I’ll use another. 

I hope you’re forgotten.

But I believe you threw away your shot on day one when you decided to mask your past instead of owning it.

But here’s something I also believe.

I believe that you were looking forward to that too. 

You confirmed this for me in person in Boston. 

I truly believe that.
