$TN100x, the main token of the Ham ecosystem, was launched along with the Based LP NFT. At first there was no Ham, it was The LP community. Each of the NFTs are backed by TN100x and was the primary distribution method to start. The first introduction of a Ham to to ecosystem was with The Golden Ham NFTs. You could staked $TN100x inside the Golden Hams for 90 days to earn more $TN100x. Then I introduced the purple Ham in the Based LP game event (still live at alpha.heroes.fun). You beat the boss you got the purple ham. This was last February or something, when degen tipping was getting started. I thought tipping was interesting and was going to implement $LP tipping, but Ham is about having fun and silliness. I thought it would be funny to tip with the Ham emoji 🍖. After that the rest was history. Emoji tipping became a thing and I began the rebrand to Ham, because it had become something larger than just the NFT project.

What inspired you to create the token and why did you choose to call it ham?

I'm bullish on Farcaster because anyone can spin up a hub to read and write to the network. We're at the beginning of a shift towards decentralized social media. Long term it's a better model, just how Ethereum and Bitcoin are better models compared to legacy financial technology. It's only a matter of time until the masses realize this.

What makes you bullish on farcaster?

1. In addition to Ham, I am on the founding team of another crypto project called Pixie Chess. There's not much out on that right now.

2. I have done pretty much all the engineering work. I have a couple advisors that have offered great advice. @facu leads the design work for the website/hamcaster/etc. @based-bren has made all the banger ham memes.

3. Unsure? I joined a couple years ago. Probably saw posts about it on Twitter and then hit up Dan for an invite.

4. Ham has shaped Farcaster culture in one way or another. The community continues to grow, the memes are getting better, and the tech is evolving. We are in a position to be one of the strongest communities and coins on Base.

Ham is fucking pure imo. I love that its organically grown into what it is without any backdoor deals, VCs, "KOLs". It represents the power of crypto, giving power back to the people. During the peak when everything was booming in March there were big accounts that picked up $TN100x. Just like everything at that time it pumped to ATH. They are gone. But guess what? We're still here, we are still hamming. There's a single wassie behind Ham, the remainder of token distribution is laid out, team tokens are locked and vesting, we have banger memes, and a killer community. Even without any of the tipping tech, or ham chain i think that's enough.

If someone is new to ham, what you think will motivate him to become part of it and invest in it .

Short term is to simplify the Ham experience to onboard new people. Our memes and our community are amazing. That honestly could be enough. But we also have the tipping technology and will be expanding on that.

Yes! This is something I (and others) are actively working on. The first step will be a redesign of the current website to cater to the first time user of Ham, someone that knows nothing about it and to do it in a simple, funny way.
