I still find it miraculous that airplanes exist too!

I learned recently that my great grandfather was an airplane mechanic in the 20s, which must have been pretty wild.

Helped me understand that my fascination with new tech might run deep.

Right!? Kind of insane to be that early and some combination of useful, insightful and crazy to transition existing mechanical skills to that apparatus.

He wasn’t making much money in the beginning, that’s for sure, but since learning about his existence it appears it panned out.
