very much a skill issue. thereโs about a dozen people in the world who can make a PWA thatโs not awful. if they package it up in a react native webview you wouldnโt be able to tell

I have scars from 2010 web manifest and a launch app built with PhoneGap for the first Android tablet. Def a skill issue, but in most cases not worth the distribution and engagement tradeoffs. Frameworks could help address the skill issue. But OSes still constrain the value of PWAs. The web will forever lag native.
