if I reply 100 times and get a minuscule amount of total engagement I should earn 0 or even go negative

what if a honest actor getting a lot of engagement goes over this limit?

a general -X for every reply seems a lot more robust and less reactive

If you reply too much in a period of time you go straight to moxie jail

That's actually the best idea I have heard so far.

It discourages spam, while also helping to teach newbies accepted engagement practices.

Wouldn’t this be better solved by rebalancing storage so people were actually worried about running out of reply storage? Currently people just have a ton of reply storage because they keep on buying more whenever they run out of reactions for some reason so they just aren’t worried about replies at all

Why should this be passed off to the moxie/tipping token devs?

Yes! Or any other action that can get us back to our normal lovely ecosystem where we could talk and laugh and engage without all this fuss!
