this is a new user deterrent; i’ve talked about this before too would be good to wipe the bots from follower counts what would you think if you were new here & saw an outsized number of accounts with 50,000+ followers getting 1-5 likes per post? you’d think this place is a ghost town

i agree, but no matter what score, metric, or methodology Merkle uses to differentiate bots, someone will be pissed, right? i don’t see a great path forward…

ppl would be confused seeing different follower counts on different clients best path i see is storage starts expiring and follows from inactive accounts will be pruned
