Farcaster needs to be an origin of something alpha new experiences no one is going to move because it's the same thing as twitter but a different backend

I agree, and I believe farcaster is in a position to experiment with new experiences that neither twitter or bluesky can offer thanks to its economic layer

Today I discovered @newcaster, I got a free invitation link and I spent like 10min thinking which of my friends and acquitances could be interested in joining Farcaster or who could take advantage of it. I scrolled through different messaging apps expecting to find someone with who sharing the link. Found no one :( I also tried in the past to invite several no-Web3 friends, the ones I thought could be more interested and non of them are active today. If Farcaster wants to succeed we need to make sure that every user have strong reasons to invite their normie friends.
