Was only able to lurk the space. Super interesting discussion. Had a chance to read the spec now. Will the frame be able to know it is in a cast action context? And if so, have you considered a frame server response that instructs the modal/sheet to close? Eg. After clicking “cancel” in your ban example.

the frame server could see if the cast had the frame as an embed or not yes—we're thinking something like allowing the frames to send back a response indicating the frame should be closed and a message displayed in a toast, I think this will be key for a smooth UX

Excellent. Other thought I had: could there be a trusted context where the frame is actually used to update the behaviour of the action that called it? Eg. I have a translation action, and it’s set to translate into Spanish. Once open, I change the default language to French and hit save. Action label is updated.
