PSA: if your casts are boosted you don’t need to tell us they’re boosted (not interesting), just cast what you want to talk about or share (interesting) and more people will see it

I actually like people sharing their boost screenshots

- it's a self spreading meme
- they're genuinely just excited
- seeing some new faces on the feed is nice
- giving people tools to grow their reach benefits everyone

good counter point but they can share the screen shot and do interesting content in one post!

screenshots with empty content like "omg I just got boosted" or "wut should I say" are what feels annoying to see on the TL

Yeah that’s fair, and likely the entire basis of the initial cast and discussion.

Theres some tact one needs to learn to post “interesting content” and a lot of that is learned from others.

Ironically, these boosted vapid casts likely self propagate because they’re seen on the timeline!

Maybe an algo nerf for casts that mention boost{,ed} but don’t have any substance? Better yet, gray out the Cast button and add give a warning similar to the 320 character limit but say “don’t just cast about being boosted” 😆
