social context is so powerful I don't want to read descriptions about why I should attend some event, play some game, buy some product I just want to know what my friends are doing but computing is kind of a pain, I'd love to see @neynar or others provide an API to make integrating social context into apps easy: - add FID to arbitrary bucket (e.g. these FIDs are attending event X) - query a bucket for social context for an FID (e.g. here are the members of bucket that FID is connected to, ordered by relevance)

how is the implementation in warpcast? is that scalable? I saw you are using it in many places, like your followed XXX is member of channel / group.

real time queries against an indexed table of all follows works for now but would not says its scalable

There are too many spammers on the hub, and I don’t want to index them all. I built a small service that indexes only power-user links, and it worked good. This approach can be applied to channel members, which should be useful. Each channel could become a new Farcaster.

yea reasonable though this is why it’d be nice for neymar or cura to provide apis to make this easier then more apps can offer for everyone

it's better to have an open source lib that every app can track and index links based on their own users. Hard for neynar to provide fast and general apis for apps, especially if you don't want people know all your existing users.
