Did anyone else read Eragon growing up? One of the few books I've read several times over.

yes, his conception of magic and how it respected laws of energy conservation was elegant esp. compared to Harry Potter (which I was also reading at the time) which was... hand wavy 

fun fact: Christopher Paolini started working this book when he was 15 and published it when he as 18

Preach! ✊ That and the connection with Dragons. Also yeah 15 is pretty unbelievable. 

Funner fact: He just wrote a new book about Murtagh and might be writing a new book that follows Eragon after the end of the series.

I only remember the ending so I'm def doing a reread of the series at some point. get to enjoy it again
