Great! I think if gas estimation is improved this would be a great first step :)

Btw I also think my gas preference (normal/fast/urgent) is ignored on testnets.

Looking into it, we are adding custom gas on L2s soon as well!

I keep MM in my back pocket for issues like that, but then get back to rainbow as soon as I can. Good to bring it up. The testnet mode in Rainbow would be a good place to add support for nerdier needs like manual gas.
