OpenAI is currently in discussions to raise up to $40 billion in a new funding round, aiming for a valuation of approximately $300 billion. SoftBank Group is expected to lead this round with an investment between $15 billion and $25 billion. The funds are intended to support OpenAI's operations and its ambitious Stargate project, which focuses on building AI data centers across the United States.
