The Manta Rayâs Filtration System
Manta rays feed by capturing with their mouth a mix of seawater and plankton as they swim. The mixture strikes a filter, causing the plankton to bounce into the manta rayâs throat, where it is swallowed as food. The water keeps moving through the filter and is flushed through the manta rayâs gills. However, manta rays can filter out plankton that is much smaller than their filter openings. According to science journalist Ed Yong, this ability is âa feat that should have been impossible.â
Consider: The rayâs filtering system looks like five arches, which resemble double-sided combs. Some of the combsâ teeth, or lobes, angle forward and some backward. These lobes separate the seawater, forcing some to flow above the lobes and some to flow between the lobes, creating tiny whirlpools.
When plankton or other food particles strike the leading edge of the lobes, they rebound into the faster moving stream and end up in the rayâs throat, where they can be swallow⊠0 reply

WAS IT DESIGNED?
A Motherâs Milkâ
Infant formula milk will never completely mimic human milk,â states a reference book for midwives. One of the reasons a motherâs milk is ideal for her baby is because her body changes it in a way that matches an infantâs needs.
Consider: Motherâs milk changes from the beginning to the end of each feeding session. The milk at the beginning of a feeding has more protein, vitamins, minerals, and water, whereas the milk later in the feeding has more fat, leaving the infant satisfied. Her milk even changes based on the babyâs age and the season.
In motherâs milk, the amount of some hormones, such as melatonin, peaks during the night, whereas other hormones peak during the day. Depending on the time of day, these hormonal variations promote sleepiness or alertness, which help the infant establish a sleep/wake cycle.
During the first few days after giving birth, the mother produces a yellowish milk called colostrum. Colostrum is easy to digest and is concentra⊠0 reply

At last, the finish line is in sight! Let's hope this is the real deal.
@LineaBuild has announced the end of the LXP campaign, and no more LXPs will be distributed!
However, LXPs will still be given for the Testnet Voyage NFT and to participants of the early private testnet.
If you've followed me from the start, we'll receive LXPs for both criteria.
You can check your points here: app.openblocklabs.com/app/linea/dashâŠ.
Make sure to complete your POH by Oct 30th to get the LXP by going here: poh.linea.build
Last but not least, they have launched the latest LXP campaign, "AlphaMind," where you can collect 50 LXP by completing three quests.
Visit app.alphamind.co/build_karma and connect your wallet.
Then, go to the quest section, where you'll find a quest related to Linea LXP.
Will this finally end Linea's unending campaigns, or is more to come? 0 reply
