The safety vs eacc schism should not be underrated as a limit to how much SV tech can actually remain a single tribe.

I continue to wish for more balanced ways forward.

This lawsuit isn’t about money or morality — it’s about power and jealousy. Elon is struggling with the realization that a project he was once involved in has blown up. Reality is that OpenAI created one of the best products in modern history and Elon wants credit for it.. if not, he will try to destroy it.
