Last cycle this was one of the biggest problems I noticed with artists.

They are great at what they do but not great at marketing themselves.

There are obviously some exceptions.

This applies to more than just artists.

What makes you want to create art is most often completely at odds with market values. Marketing is the anti-art.

I can see this as art can be an escape or a stress reliever.

My wife loves cooking 🍳 

Went to culinary school 

Realizing doing it all the time for work, she lost the stress relief aspect...

*Sometimes don't make your passion a full time job.

So: don't pay your kids to do chores (unless you must 😆)
