Literally in one day Trump brought tariffs back to their highest level in over 100 years. This behavior is reckless and indefensible — even if you want to radically reform the economy this kind of shock therapy on the American population itself is insane. Really serious problems ahead.

He’s doing exactly what he said he was going to. That’s what is insane to me. People act shocked with the decisions he is making, but it’s exactly what he was preaching on the campaign trail. This is what conservatives voted for and what “crazy liberals” were rightfully concerned about (among many other things).

That's exactly what I say... I'm like... They have always said they want change... He says the change he's going to do (and had 4 years of prep) and enacting on what the majority voted for... Like you said people are surprised it's happening

It’s interesting reading the commentary now, where the defense of so called political pundits is that no one thought Trump would actually be crazy enough to do what he said he was going to do.
