My wife eats butter once a year. And it happens when I come home with morel mushrooms from the Berkshire Mountains of eastern Massachusetts.

You are in prime country to get them. Esp at farmers markets towards mid-spring. They’re….. SO good.

And if you do get them, just butter with a touch of salt. Don’t let any of these plebes tell you olive oil and pepper and garlic — fuck that. This is a perfect food.
