Bans Update

We're applying bans as we wrap up Season 12. In Season 13, all bans will be reset, giving everyone a fresh opportunity to earn tips.

At the end of each season, we'll reevaluate activity using a rule-based analysis of our choosing to weed out behavior that closely aligns with farming. To prevent gaming the system, we won't announce rules in advance but will use various techniques to monitor how tips are being distributed.

I think the intentions are good but the drastic execution is not. We assess the rules and then decide to lock away our degen based on those stated rules. When rules change on the fly and become retroactive, it deflates the enthusiasm of wanting to stay involved. 

It's ok to adjust parameters, so if the t4t rule didn't work to your satisfaction, announce changes that will go into effect for the next season. But punishing those who followed rules as stated on the official FAQ doesn't sit well.

I don't tend to have conviction in a project that will vaguely assess rules that have a direct monetary impact to me.
