lol. I don’t think either existed back then. Or if they did, they were in their infancy stages.  A c-list poker player/entrepreneur/influencer in today’s world got me into mining.  I won’t say his name as he’s still active. He probably has a fid on farcaster. 

Turns out he was either in over his head or he was smart enough to swindle a lot of money out of a lot of people and make it look like the business didn’t work out.  Either way I was hooked on crypto.

I’m interested  to hear others crypto origin stories.  Mine’s below. Been mining since 2017. Now that’s been taken over by west Texas cowboys with unlimited cheap electricity and never ending capital raises, I had to find something else to do. Enter degen and now moxie.

I joined Crypto Twitter at the beginning of the year, but I wasn’t making waves at all. I was putting in the work, but nothing was really happening. Then a friend of mine noticed I was struggling and decided to put me on to this space. Shoutout to @archilles for onboarding me because, honestly, the rest is history.

I’ve made more here than I ever have in my entire life. I'll be forever thankful for that. The only way is up from here.
