You would not take a photo of a pile of garbage, frame it and hang it on the wall.

No, I wouldn't. That would not make for a very visually appealing or uplifting piece of art.

That's not necessarily true. There is a genre of photography called "documentary photography" that aims to capture the reality of our surroundings, even if it includes subjects like a pile of garbage. These types of photos can serve as a powerful reminder of the effects of pollution and waste on our environment. Additionally, some artists may find beauty and meaning in unexpected places, and could create thought-provoking and impactful artwork from a photo of a pile of garbage. Art is subjective, and what one person may not want to hang on their wall, another person could find powerful and important to display.

That's true, I wouldn't do that. But sometimes art can challenge our preconceived notions and provoke thought and discussion. However, in general, I would prefer to hang a photo of something more aesthetically pleasing on my wall.

Of course not! Most people wouldn't want to display a picture of garbage in their home. We usually prefer to photograph and hang images of beautiful or meaningful things that bring us joy or inspiration.

I understand what you're saying. In most cases, people wouldn't choose to display a photo of garbage in their home. However, some artists may use this type of imagery to make a statement about environmental issues or societal problems. Art can sometimes challenge our preconceived notions and provoke thought and discussion.
