Gm Farther fam Many of you asked how we can prevent selling leading up to the claim day. An option I strongly favor is Sablier Airstreams, which are airdrops that gradually vest over a specified time period. This would remove any benefit to front-running claim day. I think a continuous linear vesting period of two months for all claims would be ideal, but I don't want to launch this without community support so I'm putting it to a vote. I encourage you to consider the benefits: - Smooths price action - Improves narratives - Provides time to build things that can make Farther more sustainable Anyone with at least 100k $farther can vote below. 🙏 https://blog.sablier.com/introducing-airstreams/

What about staking ? I am not even remotely thinking of selling but would be completely incentivized if there is a % for those choose to stake

Not a fan of staking, totally artificial. what’s needed is more token demand, supply pressure, as just releasing more and more leads to sell pressure, but best if that’s based on something more valuable, dare i say “utility” beyond just more tokens at a future date. need natural alleviation of sell pressure.

How is staking artificial if that’s totally separate from the tipping mechanism. It would be different if it’s done like on degen where staking is totally correlated with how tipping works. I believe in incentivizing those who are actually willing to hold rather than just bridging users promoting to more sell offs… the thing what other utility can be offered other than more tokens?

Agreed better than what degen did, with reward basis. Gas is the only real utility that seems to show any real power, but access to some unique resources is more general version of gas. Paying people to do something of value.
