grafted some TBM onto some PC stock a few weeks back, today you can see a new pup from the grafting stock being pushed out of one of the areoles.

so what now? we cut off the pup 💀

this way the graft and pup aren’t competing for nutrients.

and the day goes on.

The pup is the tiny lil thing that looks like it’s bursting out of the skin of the cacti. The graft is the tiny lil hot dog that looks glued on. And the thing that it’s “glued onto” is the stock.

Not in the winter ser! Best to let them go dormant until the sun is shining consistently and you’re wearing t-shirts.

Watering over winter is a great way to murder your cacti, if you’re into that.
