1. Is Farcaster 10x better than the blue app? 2. Does decentralization/blockchain make FC a 10x better UX? Interestingly, I think 1 is Yes but 2 is No Put differently: FC has clear signs of PMF but the core innovation isn't the driver, at least not directly, at least not yet

I would say #2 is a yes. For example, bird app search is broken and sucks and won't be fixed ever. Search performance on purple app seems to be independent of the client / team.

right but better search than bird app, which is a v low bar, could’ve been achieved w/o a decentralized model

Bird app won’t allow anyone else to solve the search problem . Also search is just one such problem. Many problems with bird app but no one can solve because bird app won’t allow anyone else to solve . FC solves it by being permissionless no ?
