I tied my shoes too tight during a đââď¸ race last year, and as a result lost a toenail a few weeks ago Even though it wasnât painful at any point I lost my mind when it first happened and was late to a party as I dawdled around my apartment freaking out about being able to touch the soft skin under the nail. I carefully protected it (from what I donât even know). But now that itâs been gone awhile I donât care anymore and itâs kind of fascinating. When you lose a nail an almost shadow nail forms. The skin changes. I am watching myself heal from an injury I have never experienced before. Is this how people who break a bone for the first time feel? Will probably be another 6 months before I have anything resembling a nail there.

I hope your nail grows back prettilyđ¤ And I started reading âThe Womenâ and ughh i love you for the recommendation! It did start a bit too fast paced but I understand thats because there is a lot to happen, im still super early in the book and will update more on fc as i read more!
