We've seen Google Search getting worse, the bad AI summaries, Gemini. "Google Meet (original)". But today I saw something new. Something very old. Classic Y2K-era spam is making thru the gmail filters. From my inbox just now--what a throwback 😎

Looks like there's a lot of sneaky tricks being used in there. Common spam filter words seem to be homoglyphed, etc. Scammers keep getting more sophisticated, and their tools get more powerful. Emails of this form work well, or they wouldn't be in use anymore. They rake in billions a year from these.
