I think about this a lot lately and tried to come up with a guide of shorts but always come up short. I believe it's a combo of - language barriers - culture mismatch - power dynamics (few big accounts getting lots of replies from small accounts, not enough small accounts building up one another) - not knowing how/when to add to conversations vs just liking - not knowing faux pas like asking googleable questions - moxie baiting and becoming suspicious of people - weak distribution channels for small accounts to grow organically

Too many I imagine, especially the non English speaking ones. Hard to pickup the nuance of norms when the norms are flooded with phonies
