The Western world has vilified winning because it implies the existence of losers, and equity is the top commandment.

The Eastern world has vilified loosing because it implies the existence of winners, and equality is the bottom wish.

I think the Eastern world villifies losing because it has living memory of what losing is like and it really sucks, no?

It's kind of a bummer that so many who are in that situation look at it, and begin to believe that the only way they can win is by making others lose. It doesn't have to be zero sum. There can be gains for everyone if we build systems with proper incentive structures. You can live well without fucking people over.
