The crypto bubble keeps circle jerking about how mass adoption is just around the corner, completely ignoring that this bold experiment started a _decade_ ago. The only real "adoption" we've seen so far is people getting rugged, phished, or scammed (& stablecoins tbf). I love Ethereum — it's a unique economic playground that's never been seen before — but let's be real: we've completely failed (so far) to bring the other 99% of the world into this thing. I know, I know, we keep working on it, but let's just admit it, please, and don't defend the meme tokens as mass adoption for gambling addicts.

I'll take the other side of that. We should be evangelizing by example. The 1% of us (likely way less) in the crypto space need to demonstrate how the technology adds value to our lives, and once we can do that effectively, the 99% will come over by themselves. We should stop dumping so much into trying to sell technology to people who don't want it, and focus on building things that we actually use. Mass adoption isn't something you can buy your way into. It's something that occurs naturally when the technology is ready. There is a balance of course, but I'm just really tired of people trying to build a "wallet for Grandma" or something, when we can't even figure out how to build safe wallets for technically sophisticated users.
