Curious if it's a Windows only issue. Either way, this is why I generally only use Telegram, Discord, etc from inside a web browser. Bug bounties for Chromium are way higher than any of the shitty chat apps.

CT believes it’s mobile and desktop (but they tend to overblow these things… a lot) but the initial video showed popping calc.exe through desktop app. exploit.org is testing samples for this if you want to follow along https://t.me/exploitorg/30

Where's the video? Also who is Exploit.org? This is my first time hearing about them. Do they have working PoC? Did they try sending to the Telegram bounty program?

@d0wnlore.eth ah yeah, I see it now in that thread. Still no idea who exploit.org is, and how reputable they are. Their domain is nice and the website is pretty so they're probably legit 😁

Yeah, TBF never heard of them before yesterday and they just came out of nowhere in Feb. But don't see anyone else actually working in InfoSec acknowledging testing it and willing to share results after so… But also wonder if others aren't just testing this in private and capturing the bounty.
