Eh, capitalism is over 500 years old, and this chart only starts getting better in the 60s. This is globalism made possible by a new wave of transport tech that rewired global supply chains.

Science 😁  Capitalism largely drove colonialism and the slave trade. It wasn't until we actually had global scale diplomacy that truly efficient markets could emerge. This means people working towards the greater good of humanity as a whole rather than worshiping greed and naked self interest.

Yup, the concept of "wokeness" itself generally refers to a philosophy that focuses on trying to understand external perspectives, and acknowledge that external perspectives exist that one can never fully understand due to differences in life circumstances.

By definition, the exact opposite of greed and self interest.

I bet the woke narrative does not indulge in greed and naked self interest.
