Do not come unless you want to overpay for everything in a place like Las Vegas (quintessentially American excess) or New York (S-tier globalist destination) We are fat (although honestly we can be so fat that’s almost a sort of sideshow thing unto itself, American gluttony and obesity must be seen to be believed), mean (just look at Trump, morality flows down from the top), and everything will cost 10x for 1/2 quality of your home country

these are crazy charts but I'd also like to see them side by side with international travel trends generally. i think all expensive travel is down bad rn

This is such a good call. If we are to assume the news is correct, and for past x months any American <250k income is having their discretionary squeezed— it would track with what you are saying perfectly. I may go on a fact finding mission
