who is making a decent digital art gallery? there are some excellent artists here on FC, but then i click the link and i get a puzzle page with - no CTA - no buy button. - "unlimited edition" (why would anyone buy that...?) - bizarre coins and chains ("tezos")

what i want is nothing fancy, just like a PHYSICAL GALLERY, but online. curate the good stuff, don't show me animated gif slop. clear prices. 1/1s. price in USDC or ETH. do this right and i will be a patron of the arts. please and thank you.

Not visual-art focused but /alexandria has most of these for limited digital edition books! Curated bookshop, user-friendly and enjoyable mint experience, one-click checkout with Apple Pay. Built on Base. And I would love to explore any digital art galleries people recommend that fit your list, it sounds fantastic!!

this seems like a tough sell. art thrives on rarity, while book authors want to sell as many copies as possible. "rare books" is all about out-of-print books and original editions.

That's why we make limited digital edition originals (like this one: https://www.alexandriabooks.com/collection/the-konrath-dark-thriller-collective-signature-edition) But for the majority of collections we release, the main appeal to readers is that they can own their ebooks, so in that way it definitely works differently from the art collecting world, I agree!
