Warren made similar arguments a few days ago. Surely a former professor of Law and Economics understands how inflation works. Yet she's happy to publicly make these obviously incorrect statements.

Unfortunately it doesn't matter that it's not sound economics (and they know it isn't). They're just blame shifting leading up to the elections.
