Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer* electronic** cash system*** * peer = large mining operation, profitable solo mining ~impossible ** uses as much power as Switzerland today. (but this will drop as the security budget paying for it keeps halving…) *** no stablecoins & your transaction might take an hour to confirm
