seems like computing is going to develop so hard at the micro end (AR headsets, phones as supplemental processors for these) and at the macro end (GPU,etc. data centers for AI and cloud streaming) will we have much need for what’s in the middle soon (desktops, gaming PCs, etc.)?

Seems like they've been saying this for years. Ever since tablets failed to replace laptops. I think in the end, the keyboard is simply irreplaceable for anything beyond superficial use.

Can you actually do work (word processing, coding, decks) in the avp for hours? How’s it compare to a home desktop setup with multiscreens?

I'm open to the possibility the headset might finally disrupt the future of personal computing, but I'm not sold on it yet.
