What if every song on @cooprecs had a market cap?

Does that sound exciting or what's your general reaction to that?

I would start by asking what benefits songs having a market cap would offer?

It could definitely drive some hype but it probably wouldn’t be the kind of holders/supporters you’re after anyway. People driven by speculation generally aren’t in it for the same reasons. 

Are there other benefits im not considering besides allowing people to speculate on songs?

i think the “kind of holders” is really tough here.

if we assume all things are becoming financialized it would follow there should be a world where music fans want this type of process.

it may also be two diff audiences. one audiences that likes these mechanics leading to more $ per song and one audience on spotify m/IG where you’re building more long term IP that Cj’s lead to shows.
