Marketcap maybe most interesting at aggregated level = @cooprecs total value created - and - have a map like this underneath for proportional size of each artist/song Study multiplier logic / halving schedules on Hypersub: can you apply this to song minters & the earlier the more upside via referral rewards you get?

In Korea, there was a trend of selling copyrights to the general public for each song The trend quickly disappeared If @cooprecs have the power to find the song again to audience That market cap will go up ⬆️

Would be better if focused on just one Maybe uploading the different songs as an NFT to anyone holding the initial minted one That way scarcity is created, people want the other songs too. Then they buy it All under one market cap though. I'm probably just thinking out loud though💀

My knee jerk reaction was, no, I collect music more for altruistic reasons and to signal support. But I thought about it more. If the free mints were much closer to actually free, and I can buy more…I can still signal support (and I’ll always keep at least one), but I can also benefit if one of them becomes the next Taylor Swift (sell many, still keep some). Becomes much closer to a Zora model, so yeah, I think it’s worth doing some more exploring/investigating.

I would start by asking what benefits songs having a market cap would offer? It could definitely drive some hype but it probably wouldn’t be the kind of holders/supporters you’re after anyway. People driven by speculation generally aren’t in it for the same reasons. Are there other benefits im not considering besides allowing people to speculate on songs?

Liquidity in older drops would be useful in that world too. I was listening to some older tracks yesterday that I’m sure owners wouldn’t have minded selling based on listing history but they had expired so there was no floor.

So the songs turn into a form tokens and hold value?, well I’d prefer the song as Mintable NFTs if that were the case, cause we’ll have to buy multiple songs which will represent different tokens and that can be difficult to track, also when does $coop launch?
