I still don’t really understand channels. Should I default to using one? Only if it’s super relevant? Is it a way to reach new people? Or to narrow who among your audience it hits?

Agree with @phil at this point default to using a channel. There are some people who browse channel feeds, but most stay on home. I personally believe channels will become stronger communities and find their footing, but a little messy at the moment.
