Getting back into the churning game to accumulate Alaska miles and get the family out to Seattle this year. Seems like a great time because you can get 280k miles between Alaska and Hawaiian if you're playing 2 player mode across both cards.

I think there's still better bonuses out there, and my understanding is that if you're going to go hard, the move is to stick with Chase for your first 5 because they won't approve if you have 5 new accounts in the past 24 months.

Yeah that's the plan. 90k + 20k referral circling with wifey is pretty good tho. And no limit on the number of ink cards you can have and it's doesn't hit your credit the same as a personal card. We'll see how it goes :)

Nice, my other recommendation is to use the points relatively soon after getting them. There are too many stories of people's accounts getting shut down or points getting devalued over time
