I think there's still better bonuses out there, and my understanding is that if you're going to go hard, the move is to stick with Chase for your first 5 because they won't approve if you have 5 new accounts in the past 24 months.

Credit to an anon churning friend for the advice, but you can combine miles on Hawaiian with family if you have their card, and you can transfer between Alaska and Hawaiian for free. Both CCs have a 70k sign up bonus now, so my wife and I can each get both, get 280k miles, and combine them into one account.
