May 17th is celebrated the day of the farmer in Cuba. The celebration for this day is always repeated every year, it is a day in which multiple traditional activities are carried out, both exhibition and competitive.
This photograph represents a beautiful peasant girl as the leader of her team in an equestrian competition. 
This photo caught my attention because of the contrast of light and shadow between the figure of the horse, the girl and the flag. Here everything speaks of elegance, poise and dignity.
