What happened in my allotment assembly today? Some numbers: 67 members present 2 well behaved dogs present as well 1 new member welcomed 2 currently abandoned plots 1 of them suspected of harboring racoons 2 people who don't have email addresses 34 have not fulfilled their community work hours 4 given notice to remove rubbish from behind their shack 1 electricity theft case 1 excavation without permit 1 member recently passed away, we observed a minute of silence, standing

All real. Have to figure out what the excavation was about, I'm guessing installing a pool. My own plot was once abandoned and home to racoons, by the time I got it they were not to be seen anymore but my neighbor remains traumatized to this day.

Nice, RIP to the past neighbour, so if you want to excavate a seedbed, a pool, or a down do you need to notify your neighbours ?

Over a certain size you need a permit. I do plan to make a small pond and I've researched the size allowed. I suspect this person's hole was quite large. And the electricity thief is apparently connected to the racoon plot, who said allotment life is boring π
