I really hope a lot of these guys see what the crypto space has to offer. The reality is FAANG is consolidating. A lot of these senior devs are getting laid off, and it doesn't matter what amount of work they did.

Lots of smart people could drop into a space that by definition values their time. I just wish they didn't ostracize the tech community in blockchains so much and were willing to work with us.

In college, I thought working on browsers and web standards was like, the coolest job in the world. Perhaps the only reason I would ever be motivated to apply to a FAANG company.

Then I started learning about the dubious privacy practices and insane work culture that I would be in for, from peers who got in and a computer ethics course I took.

Then I discovered blockchain/crypto/web3, and the rest is history.
