React Native legit is great. Remix is fun. Astro is fun. Pure React with Bun + effect backend is fun

Despite what people will say, React is great if you want to ship. That doesn't make it perfect, lots of footguns (like any mature tech). Theo does a great job of painting an example of when one of these might happen (function scoping rules and object comparison). Great call out @darrylyeo

Don’t mean to make a zero-sum game out of it or anything! Many good reasons for the React ecosystem’s success

I just think the number of serious projects actively choosing to build with literally any other DOM rendering strategy are comically few and far between.
